Certificate Course in Human Rights Education

 

General Objectives of the Course

  1. To create awareness and commitment to values where the individualistic self interest is properly reconciled with the collective and common good.
  2. HRE can create the necessary moral, intellectual, and democratic resources for this purpose.
  3. The ultimate overall vision of building a human, participatory and democratic society has to be promoted and sustained.
  4. To develop the facts which are shown by the research and critical positioning.
  5. The values like pluralism, respect for all religions, scientific temper, open mind, public reasoning, all of which have been part of long Indian traditions, will have to be sustained and promoted.
  6. To build like personality and to create the awareness in the minds of the students about the human rights development for the painstaking efforts for the society.
  7. To arouse the interest of the students in strengthening the positive attitude regarding the human rights development.

These courses have been developed to introduce the students with the job market requirements and global demands of the employers.

 

 

Duration of the course

The duration of the course is of three months

 

Eligibility for Admission

Any candidate who has passed XII std or any other equivalent examination will be eligible for admission to the certificate course in Human Rights Education. Provided other conditions of admissions are fulfilled.

 

Medium of Instruction and Examination:-

 

  1. Medium of instruction of the certificate course in Human Rights Education will be Marathi Question papers shall be set in Marathi.
  2. The candidate appearing for the certificate course in Human Rights Education examination will have answer all papers in Marathi.

 

Standard of Passing

 

  1. A student has to obtain minimum 40% marks in theory papers.
